The new book is a prequel same as Season of Storms, the other book published after the end of the saga. CoR follows young Gerald on the beginning of his witcher journey it's fun. But idk why Sapkowski has been reveling in putting a bunch of latin in the books.
Doesn't BG2 use ADnD2e? I tried to play a bit of BG2 and I think that I understand how THAC0 works, but that's about it. I also remember our DM telling us, when we played Tomb of Horrors, that it was a ADnD module, but we played it with DnD5.5e Ruleset soo yeah. And I also come from one of the regions, which don't deserve DnD according WotC/Hasbro. So not even the old ttrpg nerds here play it much, we have some alternatives though like Dračí doupě and Dračí hlídka. So no physical dnd rulebooks for me
